Assignment 8.1: Autonomy, creativity and drive.
Many teachers are convinced to try new things in technology and education despite them not really wanting to attempt these different things. In the education setting we are often told to do a lot of things because we need to. As a technology leader, one can use the lessons from Daniel Pink to allow teachers more Autonomy and intrinsic drive to help teacher create their own goals and objectives within technology leading. But working with teachers, guiding their drive and desires teachers can create more personalized and more meaningful teaching. For example, giving teachers a multitude of options and letting them flourish can really influence them to integrate technology, not because they have to but because they know the way it can strengthen their teaching and their students learning.
